The difference between carbon steel casting and stainless steel casting

The difference between carbon steel casting and stainless steel casting:
1. The relative density of carbon steel and stainless steel is different: the relative density of carbon steel is slightly higher than that of ferritic and martensitic stainless steel, and slightly lower than that of austenitic stainless steel.
2. Carbon steel and stainless steel resistors are different: the resistance increases in the order of carbon steel, ferritic, martensitic and austenitic stainless steel.
3. The thermal expansion coefficients of carbon steel and stainless steel are different: the order of the size of the thermal expansion coefficient is also similar, the austenitic stainless steel is the largest and the carbon steel is the least.
4. The magnetic properties of carbon steel casting and some stainless steels are different: carbon steel, ferritic and martensitic stainless steels are magnetic, austenitic stainless steels are non-magnetic, but it may be caused by the change of cold work hardening into martensite. Magnetic, quenching and tempering can be used to remove this kind of martensitic mechanism and repair its non-magnetic.
