How to reduce pollution during precision casting
Because precision casting contains a large amount of metal and non-metal impurities, it is easy to cause loose structure and high porosity, and it is difficult to ensure the quality of the oxide film. Here are three anti-pollution tips for you.
1. The surface grinding method is to fill the gaps left by the oxidized part with the polished aluminum, and connect the resulting gaps, just like a bridge.
2. High voltage and high current density impact method: During the initial oxidation process of precision castings, the oxidation part is connected again under the action of strong current.
3. The surface shot peening method is to hit the gap with a round head hammer, and close it by hitting, so as to achieve the purpose of connecting the castings.
The above methods will help you better solve the pollution problem of castings.
Two characteristics can appear on the surface of precision castings.
1. When the quality of the formed surface is poor, the precision castings are demoulded, causing scratches. Most of them are linear (demolding direction) channels with a shallowness of less than 0.2mm and a depth of about 0.4mm, resulting in clay molds and stainless steel castings that cannot be disassembled. Aluminum wears severely.
2. The influence of wall metal flow causes strong metal welding (such as sticky paste, rolling force adhesion to the wall, the greater the force), when the glue part separates, the metal will squeeze the skin layer , The precision casting parts appear tense.
