How to check whether precision castings are qualified

Whether a precision casting is qualified or not needs to be comprehensively judged based on its surface quality, material quality, dimensional accuracy and other indicators. The following is the specific judgment method:

1. Surface quality. Including surface flatness, surface finish, surface defects and other indicators. During inspection, you need to use microscopes, magnifying glasses and other tools to observe the surface, and conduct multiple tests such as surface flatness, surface finish, surface defects and so on.

2. Material quality. Including chemical composition, mechanical properties, metallographic structure and other indicators. During inspection, chemical analysis, tensile test, hardness test, metallographic observation and other tests are required.

3. Dimensional accuracy. It needs to be tested according to the corresponding technical requirements.

4. Weight deviation. The weight deviation of castings should comply with the corresponding design requirements.

5. Casting defects. Cracks, holes, shrinkage cavities, shrinkage porosity, pores and other casting defects are not allowed.
